I've seen a few physios in my time with a long career on the rugby field coming to an end. The best thing I can say about Ben is that in a field of good players he's exceptional. He has kept me playing for a couple of years longer than I thought I might and I don't know how he's done it. Over recent years I've probably seen him a couple of times a season because I've injured something - injuring things seems easier as you get older. On each occasion he's been patient, kind, highly professional and treated me quickly and got results. He's the most unassuming man who has huge skill and talent underpinned by a knowledge base that is encyclopedic in his subject. He has a mind that is so sharp you can almost watch as he works out what the root of the problem is and gets to work on it. If you need a physio, Ben is the best there is.

I've seen Ben on and off for a few years. What you get is a polite, highly skilled very professional man who offers rapid and accurate diagnosis and then highly effective treatment all leading to a speedy recovery. What more could you want?

I ruptured my ACL playing squash, it needed an operation to repair it then I needed physio. The consultant sent me to see Ben Wilde. Ben gave me confidence straight away with his careful listening and explanation of what needed to happen to get me back to strength. It has taken six months, at times I've been despondent but Ben remained positive and never failed to encourage and support me. I'm fine now and playing squash again. Thanks Ben!

I've been seeing Mr Wilde following shoulder surgery. From the outset he was professional, pleasant and personable. He explained carefully each stage of the treatment and made sure I understood what was happening. He seemed to know exactly how far to push my progress in each session almost without asking and the exercise programme I had between sessions was extremely helpful, all the better as it was a video based programme so I could see exactly what I needed to do. I'm almost recovered now thanks to a good surgeon who recommended Mr Wilde and also to Mr Wilde himself, he's a very talented and skilled man and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I had a problem with my shoulder that my GP and other physios said was chronic. Someone told me to go and see Ben which I did, reluctantly thinking what could he do that others had not. His treatment wasn't pleasant and wasn't easy, I think he sweated over it much more than I did but three months on my incurable shoulder is fixed and as good as new. This man has amazing skill.
